一直用的Opera 9.0，昨天升级到了9.20b，大跨越呀。嘿嘿。

IE不安全，这个不必解释了吧，微软的东东被叮的体无完肤。FireFox功能少，要装插件，然后就启动N慢。就让我们用Opera吧。Opera的UI很漂亮，给人感觉就很舒服，就像Skype一样，很柔和。用我自己的话说，就是软软的感觉:-)

从IE转到Opera，可能会很不适应，这里将会帮你克服这些困难^_^

Installing/Upgrading the Flash Player
To view content on Web sites using the latest versions of Flash Player, go to the Adobe site to download the player, and follow instructions.

安装flash播放器
从adobe网站上下个flashplayer，安装，重启Opera就搞定了。

Using the Windows Media Player plug-in with Opera
Windows Media Player is a multimedia player by Microsoft. It comes bundled with most Windows computers, and upgrades are available as a download.
A new installation of Opera will find and copy the Windows Media plug-ins from C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player to C:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins.
You can confirm that the plug-ins have been installed correctly by looking for the the following files: npds.zip, npdsplay.dll, and npwmsdrm.dll in Opera’s plugins directory.
In case of doubt, copy these files to Opera’s plugins directory, and restart Opera to make Opera aware of the new plug-in.

安装Windows媒体播放器插件
官方说明是全新安装的Opera会自动的在C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player下查找Windows Media 插件，然后拷贝到Opera的插件文件夹(\\Opera安装目录\program\plugins)下。我的系统是2003，好像是缺个文件，安装Opera后并不能在网页中播放windows media player支持的文件。我不知道XP是什么个结果，不用XP好多年o(∩_∩)o
如此的话，我们从这里http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/plugin.asp下载wmpplugin，点击安装。在C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player下npds.zip, npdsplay.dll, npwmsdrm.dll这三个文件都会有了，copy到Opera的plugins文件下。重启Opera，就可以播放mp3, wmv, wma, avi一般的媒体格式了。

Opera and the RealPlayer plug-in
RealPlayer by RealNetworks is a popular multimedia player, available from: www.real.com/products/biz
Once you have downloaded the installation file, double-click it to start the installation wizard. The RealPlayer installer should normally place the plug-in file, "nppl3260.dll" automatically in Opera’s plug-ins folder, C:Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins
If "nppl3260.dll" cannot be found in this directory, you may wish to copy it there manually:
Click on the Start menu and choose "Find", then choose "Files or Folders".
Search for the file "nppl3260.dll".
Once you have located the file, copy it to Opera’s plug-ins folder.
The last step is to restart Opera. Opera will locate the copied file and associate it with RealPlayer files.

Installing the QuickTime plug-in
QuickTime by Apple is a popular multimedia player, available from: www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html.
Once you have downloaded the installation file, double-click it to start the installation wizard, and follow the on-screen instructions. If the QuickTime installer does not install the plug-in automatically, follow the instructions below to install it manually:
Locate npqtplugin.dll in the QuickTime installation directory: C:\Program Files\QuickTime\Plugins
Copy it to the Opera plug-ins directory: C:\Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins
Restart Opera
You should now be able to view QuickTime contents on the Web.

安装RealPlayer和QuickTime插件，方法和上面的一样，不过有点恶心，又要装两个媒体播放器。再把插件的动态链接库文件丢Opera的插件目录里，这两个文件分别是nppl3260.dll和npqtplugin.dll。不知道在哪？文件搜索就OK了。

如果你装了暴风之类的播放器，Opera会自动的关联暴风下的RealPlayer和QuickTime的插件。

迅雷支持
这个问题不大，迅雷现在支持多浏览器。在迅雷里设置下就可以了，工具->浏览器支持->添加Opera支持。可能会有点小问题，提示找不到opera6.ini文件。这是由于安装的时候选择的是多用户使用同一配置文件，这个时候就需要手动添加。

修改\\Opera安装目录\defaults\standard_menu.ini文件
在[Link Popup Menu]下面添加：

Item,"使用迅雷下载"=Execute Program,"C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\Plugins\ExplorerHelper\NPOperaSvr.exe","@%l|%u"

在[Document Popup Menu]下面添加：

注意：C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\Plugins\ExplorerHelper\NPOperaSvr.exe是迅雷的默认安装位置，请使用你的安装路径。

Running ActiveX controls using the Neptune plug-in
MeadCo produces a plug-in called Neptune, which hosts Microsoft’s WebBrowser control.

What this means is that the Internet Explorer engine can be run within Opera, and this in effect makes it possible to load and run ActiveX components.

Note that this only works on Windows, and the same security precautions should be taken as when running ActiveX components in Internet Explorer. Using Neptune in Opera is essentially the same as running Internet Explorer in an Opera window.

Neptune is free for use, and even though it is reported to work in Opera, we do not offer official support for it. If you are looking for further help than what is described here, please ask in the My Opera forums

Download the program from http://www.meadco.com/neptune/download/.
Close Opera
Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program.
Find the file “npmeadax.dll” in Internet Explorer’s plug-in folder (it can usually be found in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\PLUGINS\). Copy this file to Opera’s Plug-ins directory (by default C:\Program Files\Opera\Program\Plugins).
Open Opera. Opera will locate the “npmeadax.dll”-file and associate it with the MIME type application/x-meadco-neptune-ax, which is used for having Neptune call the WebBrowser control.
With its default setup, Neptune will only call ActiveX components that are sent with a MIME type of application/x-meadco-neptune-ax. If a Web page uses this as the MIME type for the plug-in content, Opera should automatically use the Neptune plug-in without requiring any interaction. However, most ActiveX components are sent with a MIME type of application/x-oleobject.

To open a regular ActiveX component in Opera, you will need to tell Opera to load it with Neptune, which in turn will open it in the Microsoft WebBrowser control, enabling ActiveX. This can be achieved using User JavaScript.

You can add a button to Opera called View in IE to have Opera open the current page in a new tab using Neptune. You can find this button in Tools > Appearance… > Buttons > My buttons and simply drag it to somewhere on your toolbar.

In Opera 8 and earlier, this will only work properly if “Reuse current tab” is enabled. You can set this at Tools > Preferences… > Advanced > Browsing

Opera中运行Active控件
下载MeadCo’s Neptune。然后在关闭Opera的情况下，安装此插件。

打开Internet Explorer所在安装目录（通常是C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer），并进入“plugins”子文件夹，找到并复制“npmeadax.dll”文件。然后将该文件直接粘贴到Opera安装目录下的”program\plugins”文件夹中。可能你会找不到这个文件，搜索了也找不到。把下载的MeadCo_Neptune.exe直接解压缩就有npmeadax.dll了，复制到Opera插件目录。重启Opera，在地址栏输入“opera:plugins”，检查Opera是否关联了Neptune插件，如显示有MeadCo’s Neptune项目即表示已正确安装。

用Opera打开页面http://www.opera.com/support/search/view/415/，找到”View in IE”链接(点击我这里的也可以)，点击会询问你是否增加新的按钮，点是就会在Tools > Appearance… > Buttons > My buttons下多出一个按钮”View in IE”，你可以将其拖动到你想要的位置。载入页面后，点击就会调用IE引擎重新刷新此页面。和火狐里面的添加ie标签一个性质。

通过上面的介绍，你就可以轻松上手Opera，绝大多数情况下表现优秀。

PS：昨天在网上裸奔中了ani溢出攻击病毒。用IE核心的浏览器立马被shutdown，用Opera仍然坚挺。感觉这到是个挺危险的信号，Opera没反应吗。

View in IE在我的机子上工作不是太正常，可能和我的系统有关。如果大家有什么问题，可以提出，大家一起探讨解决。
